SOUTHPOINT EPOXY DIY

We Love Epoxy & More!

My name is Charlie Southpoint, better known as Southpoint Epoxy and to say I love epoxy would be an understatement. I first found my love for epoxy back when I lived in California as a child. My father owned a surf shop in Newport Beach, and I spent most of my weekends there helping him build custom epoxy surfboards for the locals in the area. I’ve spent over 60 days training with the professionals at Centric Concrete Epoxy Floors. They taught me about epoxy floors, tables and more, so now I built this website to help Do It Yourselfers like myself tackle these projects. Now, I have a large family with a wife and several children. I blog about my love for epoxy-related topics on my website, Southpoint Epoxy. Truly, I hope you enjoy what you see and find this information useful on your journey in life, onshore or offshore.

Foam is your friend. Don’t be scared of it. A little bit of extra foam here and there is good for the soul and your surfing.

Rob Machado

If you don’t understand the wave, you can’t respect it. And if you don’t have respect, it’s only a matter of time before the ocean teaches you to get some.

Laird Hamilton

Surfing soothes me. It’s always been a kind of Zen experience for me. The ocean is so magnificent, peaceful, and awesome. The rest of the world disappears for me when I’m on a wave.
